The Wisconsin Watercolor Society was founded in 1952 by a group of Wisconsin artists. It was the first Wisconsin art organization to be devoted exclusively to watercolor painting. Its purpose now as then has always been to demonstrate and exhibit meaningful development in the medium of watercolor and to serve as a catalyst for those genuinely interested in watercolor.

Artist Statement

Intent: I am a watercolor and oil painter based in Lodi, Wisconsin, and have worked professionally for over a decade. My artistic foundation is rooted in traditional painting techniques, with a particular focus on nature and pet portraits.

Over the years, l’ve developed a deep connection with my subjects-whether a beloved animal or a serene landscape-striving to capture more than likeness, but essence. My work has resonated with a wide and loyal client base who value that emotional depth.

Painting is like breathing for me—an intuitive, essential act. Through the fluidity of watercolor and the richness of oil, I aim to reveal the spirit within each subject. It is both a privilege and a joy to create work that others feel deeply connected to.
